Art received his bachelor's degree in Finance from Arizona State University, and has finished coursework on his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Phoenix. A theoretical orientation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a client-centered approach, Art believes in the power of empathy, active listening, and unconditional positive regard as fundamental components of effective therapy. By creating a safe and non-judgmental space, he empowers clients to explore their thoughts and feelings openly. This supportive environment facilitates personal growth and fosters resilience, enabling clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
Art integrates the principles of CBT, focusing on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns and behaviors. By working collaboratively with clients, he helps them develop practical strategies and coping skills to manage their symptoms and improve their overall well-being. Dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of his clients, Art is passionate about fostering lasting change and promoting mental health and wellness within the community.
In his spare time, Art enjoys training jiu jitsu, playing pickleball, and spending time with his wife, their four teenagers, and their adorable French Bulldog.
