Collette has completed her coursework for her Master's of Science in Professional Counseling from Ottawa University. She also received her Bachelor's Degree from Brigham Young University. She has enjoyed the scientific study of human behavior and interpersonal relationships. She has focused her study on a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach (CBT) to therapy. This will be her primary structure as she works one-on-one with clients, but she is open to learning about the client's individual needs, and helping them heal, and grow.
Collette believes that everyone has the inherent ability to not only survive, but thrive, and her professional goal is to help clients to unlock that potential. She is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and personal growth can flourish. With a strong foundation in connecting with people, problem-solving, and a passion for continual learning, Collette strives to help individuals navigate their challenges and build the life they envision.
In addition to her professional experience, she has raised five children of her own. This has given her much insight and experience in supporting and assisting individuals in attaining their personal goals. Collette has also been an active member of her community for over 30 years. Her personal experiences have shaped her knowledge and practical application of empathy, understanding, and dedication to supporting others on their individual journeys toward well-being.
