Katherine graduated from Montana State University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology. She is now pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Seattle University and is very eager to embark on this next chapter. Katherine hopes to make a positive difference in the world by helping others reach their full potential. Katherine has experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults in educational settings and is passionate about working with these populations. She prefers an integrative therapeutic approach combining strengths-based therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, family systems theory, and mindfulness.
Katherine recognizes how hard it can be to feel comfortable and confident with oneself and believes everyone has the ability to heal and harness their strengths to overcome obstacles. She understands how intimidating asking for help can be and commends those who take this brave next step in their journey. She strives to create a a safe space for clients in which she embodies empathy, patience, flexibility, and open-mindedness in order to promote a positive therapeutic setting and alliance.
In her downtime Katherine enjoys reading a good book, painting as though she's an artist, and baking until the cows come home
