Ashley believes that connection is a fundamental human need, that we each have an innate longing to be seen, to be heard, and to be known.  She also believes that connection is possible only within the boundaries of safe, supportive relationships.  As one who has experienced the benefits of counseling herself, she is passionate about offering the same care as she partners collaboratively with her clients on their journeys toward self-discovery.

Ashley approaches therapy from a strengths-based, non-pathologizing perspective in which behaviors are symptomatic, reflecting the ways in which we strive to get our needs met.  Because she understands that change can feel threatening, Ashley considers it an honor and privilege to come alongside her clients in the process of discovering their unique strengths and resources that make healing possible. 

Ashley is a graduate of Westmont College and received her Master’s in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University.  She is privileged to be the wife to her best friend, with whom she partners to raise their four children here in Gilbert.  In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading non-fiction, drinking macchiatos, refinishing furniture, and delighting in the sound of waves crashing on the beach in her hometown of Encinitas, California.
